Great location, only 5-7min walking from Parque 93 and around 25 min walking from Zona T. Several little supermarkets close. Easy to get Uber. Area is safe as it gets in Bogota, was often walking at dark/night due to streets not being empty and police was always present. Each room seems to have its own Wifi access point, I used it for videocalls and was fine, I think would be fine to work remotely.
Now to continue negative part here due to lack of limited space down there. Staff is friendly and tries their best, however, they can't be blamed for management trying to maximize profit and investing nothing. Every time I changed room I had to ask for second unlock card, in Europe is normal every person gets its own. Kitchens have no trash cans. In 11 night stay floor was never cleaned, kitchen also not, only bed and bathroom, however, often I saw, hopefully hair that was ours, on clean sheets. On checkout I had to wait they check minibar and it took way longer any checkout ever takes, because everywhere else always you leave card and go. I travel often worldwide, specifically before this hotel I was in 3 other hotels in Bogota, two 4 stars and two 5 stars. Their rooms and breakfast were incomparable better. This place is not 4 star hotel as it says, but 3 stars at most as it now is. When booking this place it had a rating of 8.2, if everything was fine this would be maybe 7.5-8. Like it was, I can only rate it around 4.5. Most good reviews seems to be from travelers from Colombia or other South American countries, but I encourage everyone to expect better standards for your money. If you pay full price, you should also get full service, not half of it. I only booked this place because Booking showed it as -70%, around 32 EUR per night, however, it was just probably another Booking's scam price and this is normal price anyway.

Nice place to stay if you want to move from one touristic place to another. Big city so you need to be careful after 5:30 pm. However there is a lot of art places, nice museums and good places to do some shopping.
Avoid Vicentino and the 7th after 4:00 pm

Absolutely loved the Gold Museum and the Botero Museum.
Absolutely loved the Gold Museum and the Botero Museum. Both were outstanding. The National Museum was slightly disappointing on the pre Columbian material after visiting the Gold Museum. Monserrate worth a visit on the hill as the views are spectacular. Try to take the cable car as the funicular was a bit claustrophobic. But tickets in advance. If you walk up or down the hill make sure you have good shoes to walk in
It was a good city to walk around. La Candelaria is a nice area and I wish I had time for a walking tour there. The graffiti in Bogota is spectacular and again with more time I would have done another tour. Some of the craft beer is excellent and there is a lot of it.
Be careful at dusk and at night especially if alone. You can feel a little isolated at times and there is some aggressive begging .
Overall an excellent city to visit for a few days.

Bogota is a large and interesting city with no shortage of places to visit beyond the well-known galleries and museums. While many people have some English, particularly those under 30 or working in hotels or better quality restaurants, having some Spanish is very helpful or use a translating app. To get around I found Ubers quite inexpensive and readily available, but allow plenty of time for travel as Bogota's traffic is notoriously heavy. Several locals warned me not to use the Transmillenio bus system for fear of robbery and its complexity. There are no trains. I stayed in the northern suburbs (Calle 100) which is more middle class and is said to be safer than the central city area. It's an interesting area to walk around and there are a number of large pleasant parks and well-priced good restaurants and shopping centres. The Parque de Chico - Mercedes Hacienda - with its lovely heritage house and the nearby (short walk) home and studio of Enrique Grau who died in 2004 are recommended. A high level of personal security awareness is essential - eg secure wallets, leave your passport at the hotel but carry some photo identification such as a driver's licence as many museums etc require it for admission. Acceptance of of debit/credit cards is far from universal so carry Colombian Pesos in small notes.

Gastronomy is very good check if is water restrictions go where is a lot of people visit museums a lot to do go to monserrate don't take yellow cabs and check the same rate when you stay I stay at Dann and over chargue 20 dolars more but in general if you like mountains food museums
Bogota captures unique Columbian culture beautifully, especially closer to La Candelaria. As you head north from there it will be cleaner and more modern especially near Zona T.
The walk from Centro Industrial area (Santa Fe) to La Candelaria is fun with many street vendors offering food and new/used items. Lots of ATMs and foreign exchange location along the way, you will need COP but established business take credit card sometimes with a fee.
The language is all Spanish, our translator app came in handy would recommend you install one for your trip if needed.
The weather is cool as city at 8k feet elevation. We visited in April with daytime highs in 60s but carry a light jacket as sun sets and temps drop to 50s. Interestingly, not many people in shorts, you will stand it if you where them.
Taxis everywhere, but we used Uber which worked really well and cheap maybe $8 for a 25min ride. Dollar strong vs COP, you can get a decent meal from $4 for meal of day style to $20 for a higher end fish place. Street food $1 hamburger and $2 chicken/beef stick.
Museums are great, lots of over 60 free or just a few bucks to see Bontero and Picasso originals.
We felt very safe even down in La Candelaria, never saw pickpocketing or theft but just a few requests for money during day and early evening. Was not out late evening so not sure about then.

I did visit a lot and managed to see a lot for the first time, being this was the 5 time in Bogota.
Very safe, with lots of polis all around. and very clean.
Everyone was very helpful.
Just google must-see in Bogota, and go. !!
The hotel was perfect for a layover in Bogota for an early morning flight. The hotel is excellent at communicating with clients before check-in regarding their free airport shuttle and any special needs for a stay. I checked in at 9:30pm, checked out at 4am and took a 4:30 shuttle to the airport for my 6:15 flight. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The hotel restaurant, bar and small convenience store had everything I needed. This was my second stay at Habitel. Each stay was exactly what my travels required.
We were so impressed by the Windsor House Hotel that we stayed there again at the end of our vacation in Colombia. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the staff are very friendly and professional, the large breakfast each morning was a treat and the location (only 10 minutes' walk from Parque 93) could not have been better. Far and away, the best hotel that we stayed in when we were in Colombia. Plus, the price for a hotel of this quality and standard was exceptional.
The Hotel is really comfortable and the Staff absolutely friendly and helpfull, not only they helped me to move around bogota but also were really atentive to my requirements (transport from and to the airport and around the city). I had to go to the airport at 5 am and they not only arrange a really comfortable transport but also a delicius breakfast for me before leaving.
I gladly will recomend my friends this Hotel and surely i will be back.
Beautiful property in a great part of Bogota which feels very safe and close to many great restaurants. We went to Tierre for dinner which we highly recommend. The beds were SOOO comfy - probably the best I’ve ever slept on. The gym downstairs was perfectly equipped and hardly used. It was nicely air conditioned, and with water and towels. Overal it was a amazing hotel that is a bargain for a four seasons compared to anywhere else in the world
- Excellent location, located in Chapinero!
- Great security at the entrance to ensure that you are safe at all times (Especially in Bogota)
- The host is very friendly and will show you around the apartment upon arrival
- The apartment is very clean and exceeded my expectations. It also has a spacious bathroom compared to the small bathroom size in Colombia.
- Perfectly located close to OXXO, ATM's and restaurants around the corner.
Very elegant boutique hotel with exceptional design - in lobby, kitchen, terrace, etc. The location was perfect, definitely would recommend staying in Chapinero when visiting Bogota - walking distance to Zone G for restaurants, also close for Zone T for bars and clubs, around 25 minutes taxi (Uber or Cabify) ride to Candelaria, and 35-40 min ride to the Airport. The staff was really friendly and helpful although they don't speak English.
We had a wonderful stay, I stayed at Hotel Habitel about 8 years ago, and again last night, and it was and continues to be a top hotel. The breakfast was wonderful, the room top notch, and the staff helpful. We arrived around 2 am and the helpful staff brought a crib to our room for our toddler to sleep in. I will definitely stay there again whenever I need a place to stay in Bogota near the airport.
Ok location, not a lot in the general area of the hotel but Transmillerno stop nearby allows a quick trip rip to airport or Bogotá city centre so avoiding the traffic.
Great staff, very welcoming. Rooms were clean and well maintained., really powerful shower in the bathroom.
Breakfast buffet was really great but would advise not to leave it to the last hour as food can run out.
Honestly I didn’t want to leave. I worked the whole time, and the space was super comfortable, lovely, and with strong wifi. You also get nice privacy in the cabin beds. The staff does an excellent job at making social events, though! Good vibes all around. I’ve been to Bogota/Colombia before, and this is my favorite neighborhood ever. Safe, clean, easy access to everything.
Everything and Everyone. I have stayed in over 20 hotels in Bogota from the four seasons to the Westin to the NH to Click Clack you name it. This property is the absolute best property in all of Bogota. Don’t let the price for you. The amenities are top notch. The rooms are extremely comfortable. and the gym and all of the facilities are absolutely top notch.
Very safe and overall comfortable place to stay. The staff super friendly, as it is usual in Colombia, especially Bogota. I also located in a short Uber ride away from many tourist place, like the Monseratte station, Gold museum, several malls of many sizes, etc.
Also we asked for an extra chair, and they agreed to provide one. Thanks for the gesture.
The hotel is really beautiful, having the colonial type as the photos, the hotel is in a very calm area, yet also close to the public transportation and minutes away on foot to the mall, Kelly and Fran were really helpful and kind, definitely will come back there for my next trip to Colombia. Thank you
I stayed at this hotel to spend the night between flights.
Located in a nice area, midway from the airport and downtown Bogotá.
Basic, but nice room decor.
Free shuttle to the airport (every hour, though), around 15 min from/to the airport without traffic.
Fast check-in and check-out.
Hotel is at a great location, near Parque 93. We had a room overlooking the patio between the building so it was very quiet. Hot water takes time to arrive but is ok to shower. The receptionist is one of the nicest people we met in Colombia, so friendly and full of great advices.
The staff is great, always ready to help and support.
The food at the hotel is good and the room service is open until late
The location near the airport is ideal for layovers, perfect to scape the heavy traffic of Bogota
This was a very clean "business" hotel right in the middle of the Bogota Airport and the City Centre. To reach any tourist attractions, an Uber was required. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was acceptable.
Friendly staff, the old town of Bogota and Montserat is walking distance away. Next to the hotel you can find good restaurants. Easy accesible from the international airport
Great hotel, close to the airport, good service and breakfast. If you need a short stay in Bogota close to the airport I really recommend staying in Movich Buro 26.
